I would definitely greenlight a Willow sequel. So many people ask me about that. Every day people want to see another movie. I’d be very excited for it, because I was 17 when I did that movie and to go back and have another chance at the character now. I’ve learned so much more, it’d be great.
This month I decided Movie Mobsters should take a step back from focusing on the big name directors and the $20 million dollar leading men or women actresses and give a shout out to someone that’s been in the movie business for decades and has given just as much magic and wonderful memories throughout. Warwick Davis is a great story and great example of living out your dreams in an industry fixated on what society deems as “physical perfection”. He’s had successful career as a character actor, supporting actor, and even a lead actor and continues to live his dream in film today. Let’s take this month and celebrate his wonderful career that has entertained us forever.

Warwick: To me that’s part of my working day, and I would never refuse a job where I’m under several hours of makeup, because as an actor, I enjoy performing. It’s about the creation of the character and the art to me, not about being comfortable and how long it all takes. Nothing’s better than coming away from a film when people don’t even recognize you, because you’ve undergone a total transformation.
Warwick began his career purely by chance as a boy in 1981. His grandmother heard a radio announcement calling for people under four feet tall to appear in the new ‘Star Wars’ film, ‘Return of the Jedi’. Warwick’s gestures were so characteristic of George Lucas’ vision of an Ewok, that he was recast as ‘Wicket’, who became one of the film’s lead creature characters. After the huge success of the third ‘Star Wars’ epic, Lucas made two Ewok movies for ABC television,’The Ewok Adventure and ‘Ewoks: Battle for Endor’, with Warwick reprising his role as ‘Wicket’ in both projects. George Lucas and Ron Howard devised the movie Willow specifically for Warwick.
Warwick runs Willow Management, an agency for short actors; it later expanded to include exceptionally tall actors (over 7ft).

seriously? is there really any question? its Willow! the only reason its not Wicket, is because the Ewoks were the worst part of Jedi.
I loved Willow too. I had no idea that Lucas and Ron Howard made it based around him either. Freakin sweet. Expect lots of reviews from his movies this month!
