Surviving Christmas (2004)
Posted On 07 Dec 2011 By Heather. Under .5 Stars (Pathetic), 2004, Comedy, Family/Kids, Holiday Movies!.
Is there some requirement for newer Christmas films to be awful movies that defecate all over the spirit of Christmas? Surviving Christmas was almost as bad as Christmas With The Cranks and right on par with Fred Claus.

Review: Take Me Home Tonight (2011)
It may be unoriginal, but in a movie landscape where comedies are haphazardly thrown together without rhyme or reason, you discount the fact that Take Me Home Tonight is actually funny and competent. And features a Dan Fogler performance that ISN'T grating. That matters too.

Chaos Theory (2008)
A movie about an obsessively organized efficiency expert whose life unravels in unexpected ways when fate forces him to explore the serendipitous nature of love and forgiveness is a lot to swallow in one breath. But what Chaos Theory succeeds at is manipulating this story base and makes for a compelling/interesting character piece.

Christopher Nolan made his mark as a writer and director in the world of cinema with Memento in the year 2000. This twisted and dark movie masked through the eyes of man with short term memory loss is a film puzzled over and analyzed, only to still leave it’s viewers with a sense of awe in the wake of it’s originality and concept.

At 80 minutes, The Last Rites of Ransom Pride is all style over substance, and the style isn't even that great.

Review: The Strangers (2008)
For a great Halloween scary watch, have a date night with yourself, turn out the lights, forget to lock your doors, and I guarantee you that you will cautiously pause it halfway threw just to go lock them and take a nervous peek outside your windows. That’s how this movie deserves to be watched, otherwise it may just be another horror movie.

Review: The Brothers Grimm (2005)
The dark and murky world that The Brother’s Grimm is set in has a wistful set design that interludes mythology and fairy tales in a most distorted fashion.

After spending years on the shelf, Trick'r Treat was finally given a release on DVD last year and if there's any justice in the world, it will soon become a full-fledged holiday classic.
