Ben Afflecks' The Town, boasting scene stealing work by Postlethwaite, Hall and Renner and some of the best aerial photography of Boston you'll see, is one of the year's best entertainments. This is neo-noir done right.

Robert Duvall gives one of the best performances of his career as Felix Bush, a 1930’s hermit who throws himself a pre-death funeral bash. Bill Murray, Sissy Spacek and Lucas Black match him in skill and intensity in Get Low, a good-hearted, folksy treasure.

I don't normally like doing a "take" on a review already posted here, but Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World is a different beast all together and my excitement at what I have seen cannot be contained by mortal men.

Adventures in Hulu: L.A. Dragnet (2003-2004)
Posted On 04 Aug 2010 By Jonathan Sullivan. Under 2 Stars (Mediocre), 3.5 Stars (Exceptional), Action, Adventures in Hulu, Crime.
For Jon's new semi-regular feature, he's taking a trip through the magical world of Hulu to bring you defunct TV shows that are available for your free viewing pleasure, be it good or bad. On the first edition, he talks about his favorite cop drama show of all-time: the 2003-2004 reboot of Dragnet, starring Ed O' Neill. Don't worry everyone: Movie Mobsters isn't going to become Television Mobsters anytime soon.

Throwback Tuesday: The People Vs. Larry Flynt (1996)
This Tuesday Heather takes you back to a film that turned heads, and shocked many in 1996. Arguably Woody Harrelson's best performance The People Vs. Larry Flynt is a brilliantly written and directed movie that has stood the test of time.

This weeks Throwback Tuesday is a personal favorite of Heather's, a film that allowed Pacino to be loud crazy Pacino, Keanu a simplified dude, and featured the beautiful Charlize Theron and Connie Nielson. Thirteen years later, this film is still fun.

Review: Youth in Revolt (2009)
Posted On 09 Jul 2010 By Jonathan Sullivan. Under 2000's, 2009, 2010, 3.5 Stars (Exceptional), Comedy.
Youth in Revolt is a subtly funny coming of age story involving mushrooms, arson, and mild schizophrenia. In my eyes, that's a winning combination.
